Safe And Respectful Learning Environment
The Clark County School District will provide appropriate training to all administrators, principals, teachers, and all other personnel employed by the District as prescribed by this policy under the heading “Professional Development. The professional development should address awareness concerning the various types of bullying, how the bullying manifests itself, and educational consequences of bullying. The CCSD Equity and Diversity Education Department is currently one of the providers of District – based professional learning opportunities that meet the directives of Policy 5137, Safe and Respectful Learning Environment.
The Equity and Diversity Education Department spearheads CCSD K-12 schools activities completed for the “Week of Respect”, (first week of October) with schools submitting a report as required by NRS 388.145.
